Saturday's Kizomba class is still 'on'. I got a note from one of the lovely Candela ladies who was wondering if maybe she shouldn't come because there might not be any guys.
As I told her when I returned her message........I never know until I actually get there who's going to be there. And anyway, at this point there's a lot to be learned from having a small group of people, even if it is 3 or 4 girls and me, who can practice the basics.
For those of you who've never had a class with me. I don't waste any time. Sometimes, if I'm talking, it's only to make a point. But I strongly believe in drill, drill, drill, drill, drill, drill......I think that's what the class is for. It's not strictly a social thing. We can do that before and after allotted time for the class.
You Candela guys.....I hope some of you will come. You'll get a lot out of this class that I promise you will help your other dancing. Especially your bachata. If some of the guys would let me know you're coming, or mention it here on the site, I suspect that would prompt more ladies to say they're coming too.
I understand how people, guys or gals, might not think there's any reason to come if it's going to be a small class. But in my humble opinion, that's actually a good thing. As long as there's at least one girl and one guy.....we can always rotate fast and we'll have a chance to practice and discuss it with more people.
Best regards,
