I'm doing another free Kizomba class this coming Saturday, May 8th, 1:30-3:00 pm. there at beautiful Candela Dance Studio. We'll cover all the basics and, for those who've already learned them, we're also going to work on one of the most basic and beautiful of Kizomba moves....."Saida". I need the practice myself so we'll all be helping each other.
In addition to Saida though, we'll learn one or two other patterns as time permits.
I'm expecting a couple of Filipino friends of mine.......I think it'll be at least one lady and one guy. Also, my good friend from Michelle Farley is coming over. I taught Michelle the basics as I was learning them a few months ago and I haven't seen her in a long time.
I got a call from Michelle today and she's arranged for us to do a Kizomba demo at Itaewon later that night. That oughta be tons of fun. And also potentially a very pivotal event for Kizomba in Korea in general because of the exposure we'll get for the dance.
I'd greatly appreciate it if some of you (readers) could come over there and cheer for us. I'll have some small, business card sized flyers for us to pass out.....with the address of our
Kizomba-Korea Meetup site. That might drive some people to our site and get some new students for us.
Also.......I'm wondering if any of you would be interested in attending some regular casino rueda lessons there at Candela. I'd be the teacher and the lessons would be on the weekend. And there'd probably be a small charge too.
If you don't know what casino rueda looks like, you can either look it up on Youtube or go to my other blog,
www.koreacarruseles.com.
If you have any further thoughts or ideas on that matter, feel free to give me a call at 010 5822 2277.
Best regards,
Art
