I'm always excited about something. This time it's the next Kizomba class coming up just 5 short days from now, on April 24th, there at beautiful Candela Dance Studio in Yangjae.
Two new ladies have said they're coming. One of them is a favorite teacher friend of mine who already is taking lessons there at Candela. The other is a very nice young lady, an American I think, who I recently met and danced with at American Latina. I gave her a Kizomba CD and suggested she contact me about the class if she liked the music.
She did!
So.......I'll be coming up on Friday evening for Bachata night at Bahia in Hongdae as usual. I'd love to rendezvous with any of you guys and gals there if you care to. Otherwise I'll be at Candela on 1:30 pm Saturday afternoon for the lesson. Our lesson will run about 60+ minutes and then I'll have to hustle to catch the KTX back to Daegu for the casino rueda class that I participate in there.
I felt real good about how much the 3 students were able to learn and how much they enjoyed that last Kizomba class I did so I know we'll be able to do at least that much this time. I do have another pattern or two which looks very nice but isn't really hard which I'll teach if we have time.
I'll bring 3 or 4 CDs of music to give away. Some of the music will be real Kizomba music but I'll also add some of the other stuff that has that 'raw edge' that I've been talking about. I think you'll like it because it'll give you something sexy and cool looking that you can do to types of music that you probably wouldn't normally dance to.
If there's just the two girl students there I can take care of them fine but I would love to have one or two guys show up for this class. Guys......this is a special opportunity for you!
You guys will love the dance and you'll be positioning yourself as a real 'expert' when Kizomba eventually gains more popularity here in Korea. Here's your big change to get ahead of the crowd. Don't you wish you'd have been one of the first to learn salsa or bachata?
And, by the way, this class is totally, 100% free. I'm doing it because I enjoy it....the dance and teaching it. We also owe Pillhwan a huge 'thank-you' for his remarkable generosity in contributing the floor space at Candela.
I'm also posting over on the Korea Latin and Salsa site tonight too.
If you decide you're coming I'd appreciate it very much if you'd let me know.
Best regards,
Art
